Wood laminates are thin strips used to cover wood on cabinets or counters to give it a different look. They are attached through an adhesive, but can come off if they are exposed to too much moisture.

Wood laminates are artificial, unlike veneers which are thin strips of wood. They are, however, much less expensive.
