RTA Cabinets 365 provides comprehensive warranty coverage because we believe in the quality of every cabinet we sell. Our cabinets are constructed with premium materials—5/8″ cabinet-grade plywood boxes, solid wood doors and drawer fronts, dovetail drawer construction, and commercial-grade hardware—and we warrant these components against defects in materials and workmanship. This warranty reflects our commitment to the homeowners, contractors, and builders throughout Portage, Valparaiso, Chesterton, and Greater Northwest Indiana who have trusted us for over 15 years.

Cabinet Box Construction Our warranty covers the structural integrity of all cabinet boxes, including the 5/8″ plywood construction, metal “L” bracket reinforcements, and 3/4″ thick stretchers applied to cabinet backs. If you experience warping, cracking, or separation of cabinet box components due to manufacturing defects, we will repair or replace the affected cabinet.

Doors and Drawer Fronts All solid wood doors, drawer fronts, and face frames are warranted against defects in materials and workmanship, including warping, splitting, or delamination under normal use conditions. Our 3/4″ thick full overlay doors and frames are built to maintain their beauty and functionality for years.

Drawer Construction and Glides The dovetail drawer boxes with 1/2″ thick wood slides are warranted for structural integrity. Additionally, the full-extension, under-mounted, soft-close concealed steel drawer glides are covered against mechanical failure, ensuring smooth operation throughout the warranty period.

Hardware and Hinges Our six-way adjustable European hidden metal hinges are warranted against breakage or malfunction. The soft-close mechanisms, adjustable 3/4″ depth metal shelf rests, and all mounting hardware are covered under our comprehensive warranty program.

Finish Protection The clear-coat UV finish applied throughout all cabinet surfaces is warranted against peeling, blistering, or excessive fading under normal household conditions. This protective finish is designed to withstand daily use in kitchens, bathrooms, and laundry rooms throughout Northwest Indiana homes.

Residential Warranty Coverage: Homeowners receive comprehensive warranty coverage for cabinets installed in residential properties throughout Northwest Indiana. Coverage includes all structural components, hardware, and finishes under normal household use conditions. Commercial and Multi-Family Coverage: Contractors, builders, and property investors installing cabinets in rental properties, multi-family developments, or light commercial applications receive tailored warranty coverage appropriate to the application. What’s Not Covered: Our warranty covers manufacturing defects and material failures but does not cover damage resulting from improper installation, modifications, abuse, negligence, or failure to follow care instructions. Normal wear and tear, damage from water exposure due to plumbing failures, damage from excessive moisture or humidity without proper ventilation, impacts or accidents, and use of harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners are not covered. Additionally, cabinets installed outdoors or in unheated/unconditioned spaces, and natural variations in wood grain and color are excluded from warranty coverage.

Cabinet Care Guidelines for Long-Lasting Beauty

Proper care and maintenance ensure your RTA Cabinets 365 cabinets maintain their beauty and functionality while preserving warranty coverage. Following these simple guidelines protects your investment and keeps your cabinets looking showroom-fresh for decades.

Daily Cleaning: Clean cabinet surfaces with a soft, damp cloth and mild dish soap solution. Wipe in the direction of the wood grain, then immediately dry with a clean, soft cloth. Avoid excessive water and never allow moisture to sit on cabinet surfaces. Our UV clear-coat finish protects against everyday spills, but prompt cleaning prevents potential issues.

Avoid Harsh Chemicals: Never use abrasive cleaners, scouring pads, bleach, ammonia-based products, or harsh chemical cleaners on your cabinets. These products can damage the UV finish and void warranty coverage. Stick to mild soap and water or cleaners specifically designed for wood cabinets.

Humidity Control: Maintain indoor humidity levels between 35-50% to prevent wood expansion or contraction. Use exhaust fans in kitchens, bathrooms, and laundry rooms to remove excess moisture. This is especially important in Northwest Indiana’s variable climate, where winter heating can create dry conditions and summer humidity can affect wood products.

Hardware Maintenance: Periodically check and tighten cabinet door hinges and drawer glide screws to maintain proper alignment. The six-way adjustable European hinges allow for easy adjustments if doors require realignment over time. Our soft-close mechanisms are designed for maintenance-free operation but should be kept clean of debris.

Prevent Water Damage: Immediately wipe up any water spills, especially around sink base cabinets. Check under-sink plumbing regularly for leaks. While our cabinets feature moisture-resistant finishes, prolonged water exposure from plumbing failures can cause damage not covered by warranty.
