What is a Reveal?

The term reveal refers to the part of a cabinet frame that is still visible after the door is attached. This occurs when the cabinet door is smaller than the frame, but is larger than the opening of the cabinet storage area. A reveal is the result of this, and inset hinges are best to use in this case.
