What is a Edge Grain?

Edge grain is the fusing together of multiple parallel strips of wood into one block. It is usually made of strips of a hardwood like maple that are glued together.

Edgecan be used for making cutting boards but isn’t as strong as end grain. grain In addition to cutting boards, it can be used to make countertops, tabletops, and other surfaces.
