A corridor kitchen, also known as a galley kitchen, is a kitchen that long like a corridor but not very wide. They take up very little square footage, but require planning to be efficient. They can be crowded if more than one person goes through it or has too many outward-facing cabinet doors. If a corridor kitchen is planned around the kitchen work triangle, (the refrigerator, stove, and sink), it can be an efficient use of space for a single cook.
