Butt Door

What is a Butt Door?

Butt doors are the doors of two cabinets that open towards each other. They cover the same cabinet space, and sometimes don’t have a center devide between them. Instead they just have have a small 1/8 of an inch gap. They are usually found on smaller cabinets due to the lack of a center stile. The lack of a center stile also allows larger items to be stored in these cabinets.
