Bumper pads are small rubber, felt, or plastic pieces on the inside of cabinet doors, usually in the corners. They are used to soften the impact of the cabinet doors closing.

Without them, the wood-on-wood impact is loud and damaging over repeated impact. Bumper pads make closing cabinet doors easier on your ears and extend the life of your cabinets.
