What is Ash Wood?

Ash wood is a hardwood grown in North America most well known for being used in baseball bats. Quite frequently it is used as a substitiute for Red Oak.

Ash wood is used in cabinets because it is moderately hard, heavy, and strong. Ash wood is also easily stained and colored.
