1 and half inch overlay

What is a 1 and half inch Overlay?

A half-inch overlay refers to the amount of cabinet frame that a drawer or door covers. The half-inch overlay extends half an inch over the cabinet frame, leaving about a large amount of the cabinet’s frame, about two inches, exposed.

The half-inch overlay is a classic style, usually preferred because it is less expensive than one-inch overlays.

Half-inch overlays, however, should not be confused with half overlays.
